Stanely Bridge
This replica of the Montazah Bridge built by the late King Farouk, spans 276 metres across Stanely Bay.
Arab Contractors built this picturesque bridge, at an estimated cost of EGP 70 million.
BASF- Egypt provided MASTERSEAL 541, a cementitious acrylic modified coating, to protect concrete elements against the harsh climatic conditions.
BASF also supplied WABO GT 50 traffic joints to provide smooth transition between each span of the bridge.
The seven lane bridge, towering 20 metres above the sea, is a major highlight of the Alexandria Corniche beautification project.
