Team Building Event in El Gouna 2008 

BASF Egypt held a 'Team Building' 2-day event on 7th till 9th May, in El Gouna resort, Hurghada

This year was fantastic as Morocco team & Mr. Jon Gilbirston West of Africa Director joined us in our event which gave us a suitable opportunity to spend more time with our team in ORIA.  

The event, to promote 'Team Spirit', pitted 6 teams of 5 persons against each other in a series of team games designed to challenge the cohesiveness of the unit and test the organisational ability of the participants.

Many of the challenges involved sports that the people had not tried before such as (Paintball - Get to Know Gouna) that offered a true test of resourcefulness and team work.

Paul Hamlett, Managing Director of BASF Egypt, commented

"The event was very successful in promoting team unity. People were put in unfamiliar territory and showed how team work can benefit all.

Leadership qualities of certain individuals became evident over the two days and all in all the exercise was a huge success for BASF''.

Emad Shawky, General Sales Manager, presented awards at the final dinner to all sales staff for outstanding service and performance for the last years of BASF Egypt's operation

And also presented  Eng. Ahmed Gunter Flooring Manager

with the 'Salesman of the Year' award for year 2007 .
